SMUDGE (8/24/1996 - 6/14/2011). Some very sad news for “Smudge Design Co.” Just shy of 15 years, my precious and dear Smudge passed away today :( He was the inspiration for my design company and will be greatly missed. Forever in my heart and soul, you truly were my best friend and companion. I love you Smudge!

Pingg “Staff Pick” Award for All American BBQ. This past weekend marked the unofficial kick-off to a great season filled with picnics, pool parties and barbecues. Here at pingg, we couldn’t be more excited about it! That is why for this week’s Staff Pick, I have chosen the design “All American BBQ” created by graphic designer Renee Pulve, the talent behind Smudge Design Co. I love this vintage red, white and blue design that I think would be the perfect invitation for a Fourth of July barbecue (never too early to start planning those!)
